We are searching for dedicated individuals or families to become Puppy Raisers for our adorable puppies!
As a Puppy Raiser, you will play a vital role in shaping these little ones into future assistance dogs. Your love, care, and consistent training will set them on the path to becoming invaluable companions for individuals with disabilities. Joining Sunrise Service Dogs is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, shaping a brighter future, one graduating puppy at a time.
What does it take to be a Puppy Raiser?
Live in the Colorado Springs or Front Range areas.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the puppy.
Attend regular training sessions and follow our training protocols at our Colorado Springs facility.
Socialize the puppy with various environments, people, and situations.
Teach basic obedience commands and house manners.
Collaborate closely with our team for guidance and support throughout the process.
